Hey, I’m Aaron. I’m currently in the second and final year in my Masters of Osteopathy programme here at Unitec.

First of all, here’s a little bit about myself. I’m originally from Nelson, and I enjoy meeting new people and hanging out with the friend’s I’ve made up here in Auckland. I also love being active by participating in sports, tramping, hunting, and anything else that involves getting out and doing some physical activity. However, due to my workload throughout my studies I haven’t been able to partake in as much of these activities as I would have liked.

When I finish studying, I will be a qualified Osteopath. Osteopaths are manual therapists, similar to chiropractors and physiotherapists. I will leave it there for now – comparing each of these disciplines could take some time! Instead I’m here to spread the word about what we do, and how you can benefit from our services while you study here.

Here’s my list of essential facts for you about Osteopathy at Unitec.

ONE – common conditions we can help you with include Back pain, pelvic pain, or sciatica Sports injuries and other muscular strains or sprains Neck pain, headaches or migraines Hip, knee or ankle pain Shoulder, elbow or wrist pain Occupational overuse syndrome or repetitive strain injury Pregnancy related pain Asthma or breathing related disorders
