Matalena O’Mara | PresidentMattie
Matalena graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor of Social Practice – Community Development Major.
Matalena’s whanau connections are Tokelauan, Estonian and Chinese. She is a Board Member of Student Job Search (SJS;) a Youth Group Leader, mentoring youth with disabilities, with PHAB Association; is a youth mentor with the MPHS Breakaway Program and also likes to volunteer in various areas of the West Auckland community when time allows.

RosieRosie Stanton | General Rep
Rosie is in the 2nd Year of a Bachelor of Performing and Screen Arts, majoring in Editing within the Screen Dept.
Rosie is originally from the Waikato but has been in Auckland with her family on and off for the past ten years. Rosie has been a class representative for the past two years and recently has been part of the Unitec Film Club and PASA Ball committee.

Mia Peseta | Maori Rep
Mia is studying a Graduate Diploma in Business – Marketing 2016. Mia lives in South Auckland. And is part of the life force in her community.  Mia’s mother is Tainui and her father is NGA Puhi. Mia belongs to a lot of charity organisations that promote spiritual health and wellbeing. Mia leads a women’s business group in South Auckland, runs a national children’s charity and has an on campus club called ‘Connect and Grow’.

Jasmeet is the new International Rep. She is in her first semester of a Graduate Diploma in Business (Operations Management) and is from India.


Danni-ElleDanni-Elle Lindsay | Waitakere Campus Rep
Danni-Elle is in the 2nd Year of a Bachelor of Social Practice. Danni-Elle is Maori from the Hauraki Region of Ngati Maru and Ngati Paoa.
Danni-Elle is also Cook Islander from Aitutaki, Nikaupara. Danni-Elle attends church as an Apolistic Christian. Danni-Elle is currently a class representative.
